Welcome to the pages of the unique heritage complex of the Hydrotherapy Institute, which after careful renovation is reopening its doors to the public.

You are in a place where history and modernity have merged into one, so we can offer you an unforgettable experience. Explore with us an exhibition divided into three thematic circuits, which will take you to the very heart of the spa tradition.
Our exhibition focuses on the rich history of the place, the tradition of hydrotherapy procedures and the important personalities who contributed to shaping this place. The centrepiece of our main tour route is the majestically restored Lounge of architect Dušan Jurkovič, furnished with replicas of the original furniture from 1902.

Don't miss the second floor, dedicated to the brilliant composer Leoš Janáček. Here you have the unique opportunity not only to learn more about his life and work, but also to listen to musical recordings, including a television recording of the Glagolitic Mass.
Come and admire other artefacts, including those from the original mill on whose site the complex was built. You can also view an authentic model of the complex from 1910 and visually transport yourself back to the time when the spa began its story. Discover the rich history and cultural heritage of this unique place, which is coming alive just for you.
